I’m back to posting after a week out of town (and away from the computer). Here are the grocery shopping results for week #2 along with the running totals for the year.
I added a new piece of data, the average groceries purchased ($) per trip, in order to give an idea of how much we purchase in groceries (before discounts) on a weekly basis.
My wife was less thrilled with this week and only saving 27% on the groceries, but that was because she needed some large expense items which were not on sale. Sometimes you just have to buy it when you need it.
